Carly & Corey Say I do...A Backyard Affair

 ~ Carly & Corey ~
May 9th, 2015

Threatened by the chance of rain, Carly & Corey got married in a very intimate, backyard ceremony. They got lucky and the rain held off, allowing them to get married outside, and surrounded by their close family and friends. This wedding was very special to me as my bride & groom were supposed to be married at the end of August however with the possibility of deployment (Corey is in the military) they had to push up their wedding day. Coming from a military background I understood and  I am soo happy & blessed I was able to capture their ceremony and family photos. Here are a few of my favorites.

I am so very thankful to have share this moment with you two! I wish you nothing but the best! xox

Sebastian's 1st Communion

Capturing images from Special Events is very humbling it is one of the moments where being a photographer makes you proud. You get to be part of someone else`s moment, capturing the details and the important moments of this special occasion that means soo much to your client. This special event is no different. Sebastian`s first communion party was a lot of fun to shoot and he is the cutest client I have ever had! Please enjoy some of my favorite photos from the event.

Outdoor Strathcona Park Wedding

~ Amanda & Sandy~
April 25th, 2015

Simplicity when planning a wedding is sometimes best. Amanda and Sandy's wedding was exactly that. Married in Strathcona Park with about 40 of their closest friends and family these ladies kept their wedding simple focused on the love they have for each other. Take a look at some of our favorite memories of that day.

Family Session at the Cabane à Sucre

The Sugar Shack (aka Cabane à sucre)  has to be a rite of passage for everyone…remember the feeling you get being with the entire family eating yummy breakfast food for dinner like pancakes, eggs, and bacon and smothering it with the freshest Canadian Maple Syrup you can find! Now if you never have been it needs to be added to your bucket list. Best time to go is March-April when the weather gets warm during the day and still cold at night. Well this year I had to take my niece to her first ever Cabane à sucre in Papineauville Quebec and of course what is a family trip without the good old Nikon :) Take a look at what a Cabane à sucre looks like through the eyes of my very beautiful niece. Enjoy!

New York State of Mind

~ New York City 2015 ~

Before Wedding Season begins, my family and I always take our vacation since I end up working the majority of weekends during the summer months. I cant describe the feeling I get when I am in NYC. It is the big apple, the city that never sleeps, the crossroad of the world...and my favorite city in the world. I have been to NYC over 8 times and I experience something different every time I go. This time, I brought along my mother who is also a photographer and went on a Photo Blitz....Please enjoy my taste of the Big Apple through my Nikon Lens.
Thanks to my mom, she captured a great photo of my husband and I in front of the Manhattan Skyline.

Every Bride has to at least walk by and visit Kleinfeld Boutique at 110 W 20th Street in Manhattan.
