New York State of Mind

~ New York City 2015 ~

Before Wedding Season begins, my family and I always take our vacation since I end up working the majority of weekends during the summer months. I cant describe the feeling I get when I am in NYC. It is the big apple, the city that never sleeps, the crossroad of the world...and my favorite city in the world. I have been to NYC over 8 times and I experience something different every time I go. This time, I brought along my mother who is also a photographer and went on a Photo Blitz....Please enjoy my taste of the Big Apple through my Nikon Lens.
Thanks to my mom, she captured a great photo of my husband and I in front of the Manhattan Skyline.

Every Bride has to at least walk by and visit Kleinfeld Boutique at 110 W 20th Street in Manhattan.

The Baby Is Almost Here...

Céline & Cody
~ Maternity Session ~

I am thrilled to be doing Céline & Cody's Wedding this August. With their package all my couples get a free 1 hour Engagement Session and Céline asked me if she could switch it for a maternity session as she is due any day now. A request I couldn't refused. We headed up to Manotick Mill for our session together, take a look...

My Coldest Engagement Session Ever

~ Mellissa & Chris ~

Sometimes we decide on a date for an Engagement Session however we never can control the temperature it will be. Well in the case of Mellissa & Chris’s Engagement Session, this is exactly what happened. Must have been -27 with the windchill however we braved the cold for some awesome photos!

Winter Wonderland Wedding

~ Victoria & Ian ~
January 3rd, 2015

Looking back at Victoria & Ian’s big day I couldn’t have asked for a better couple to start the 2015 Wedding Season with. I remember going over the schedule and shot list with Victoria a few weeks before her big day and all she could mention was the fact there was no snow. She planned her big day so she could get married and enjoy her photos surrounded by snow; yet to date we still hadn’t really gotten any. On the morning of January 3rd, 2015 I woke up to….nope not snow, green grass. I was disappointed that Victoria would not get her snow however on my way to BeanTown Ranch the snow started to fall! Snowflakes begun and by the time Victoria & Ian had their first dance outside, we were in the middle of a blizzard…The cold or the Snow did not keep us away from capturing these amazing moments!

Congrats Again you Two!
