Asal & Yan Engagement Session was held at Dick Bell Park, Ottawa Ontario right next to the Nepean Sailing Club. It is a fitting location since they are getting married on August 8^th, 2015 at the Ottawa Rowing Club. Surrounded by beautiful sailboats, we manage to take these amazing photographs. The camera loves them and this session was such an enjoyable experience! See you two in a few weeks!

I love engagement shoots. It is a great way to interact with your photographer before your big day, because being comfortable is super important. It is also a way to get to know my couples.  I love this hour because in such a short amount of time, I get to know you and who you are.  Photography isn’t just about taking a picture it’s about capturing a moment, a spirit, and a love that exceeds the tip of the camera lens. 

Julie & Ryan are the perfect of example of why I love engagement shoots. We took the time to visit Dick Bell Park which is situated at 3259 Carling, Ottawa ON. It is right next to Andrew Hayden Park and much quieter, perfect for photos! First of all, the love that these two lovebirds have is unhinged. It’s the perfect example of how two people fall in love and become each other best friends. Julie & Ryan are both lovable, genuinely nice amazing individuals so together they are the complete package!

I cannot wait until these two tie the knot on August 27^th, 2015! Here is a sneak peak of the Engagement Session we had!

Krista & John-David ~ A Mackenzie King Estate Engagement Session

I am looking forward to Krista & John-David’s October 3^rd Wedding. These two are a joy to capture and the love between them knows no boundaries. Its moments like this that I love to shoot. Our session lasted a little longer than planned as we hiked off the beaten path (might I add, the wrong path) in search of a waterfall we never found.  (Lol) Regardless, we had some good laughs and captured lots of special moments between the two of them.
